Marie Laveau was a famous herbalist and healer that lived in New Orleans in the 1800’s. She was a Haitian Creole slave who brought her potions and wisdom to the US. Still to this day, she is celebrated and renown for her knowledge.

We respect and pay homage to this remarkable woman in creating this range of skincare in her honour representing years of women’s folklore and teachings passed down the ages.

The name itself has a lot of sentiment with Bree and Sue- Marie being Sue’s middle name and Laveau having a similar ring to Lavell, both of French origin.
